Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of StorefrontShield.

Agreement

By requesting a scan or using the service, you agree to these terms. StorefrontShield is operated by RunMyCo Inc. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Authorization is required

You may submit only a storefront that you own or are authorized to assess. You must not use StorefrontShield to target third parties without permission, evade access controls, harass a site operator, or conduct unlawful activity.

What the service provides

The service passively observes client-side scripts delivered by a submitted public page and may follow representative public product, collection, category, or cart links on the same storefront. Reports may include script inventories, vendor classifications, fingerprints, comparisons, and suggested next steps.

Important limitations

• A scan is a point-in-time observation and may not see scripts triggered by other pages, locations, consent choices, user states, or interactions.
• Vendor classifications and risk observations may be incomplete or incorrect and require human review.
• The service is not penetration testing, a vulnerability assessment, legal advice, or a guarantee of security.
• StorefrontShield is not a Qualified Security Assessor and does not provide PCI certification or make compliance decisions for you.

Acceptable use and limits

We may apply rate limits, reject requests, suspend access, remove stored material, or change free-scan availability to protect customers, infrastructure, and third parties. You may not interfere with the service, automate abusive submissions, bypass controls, or attempt to access private systems or data.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for verifying report findings, deciding whether scripts are authorized, maintaining your storefront, and meeting your legal, contractual, and compliance obligations.

Intellectual property

We retain rights in the service, software, report format, vendor library, and branding. You retain rights in information you submit and may use reports prepared for your storefront for internal security and compliance purposes.

Service availability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may modify, pause, or discontinue features without guaranteeing uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and reports are provided without warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RunMyCo Inc. and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, security incidents, or compliance outcomes arising from use of the service.
